Announcements
Open Burning Season began January 15th and will run until May 1st. Permits can be obtained starting January 10th at Fire Headquarters, 505 Liberty Street, daily from 9-5. The cost of a permit is $20.00 payable by check or money order made out to The Town of Hanson. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
The Board is accepting applications for appointment to the Board of Library Trustees to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Carolyn Galambos. Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29th.
Rockland Hanson Rotary Club will be hosting a Pizza Bowl on January 27th at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School~from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For~just $5~you can vote on pizzas in the following categories: Cheesiest Cheese Pizza, Manliest Meatiest Pizza, Kid’s Choice, Vegetarian’s Voice and the Ultimate~Bar Pizza.~ Children under 5 are free. Proceeds will benefit the first WHRHS student delegation trip to China.
